Valerie

Valerie’s son was diagnosed with psychosis 11 years ago but had severe symptoms long before that. Unfortunately this was before the introduction of Early Intervention Services, so she has long experience of struggling on her own and finding her way through the mental health care system. So as not to identify her son (who is now very well) she wishes to remain anonymous, so has attached a symbolic photograph instead.
