Take Part in the REACT Study

We are looking to find out whether the REACT toolkit works in helping relatives by dividing participants randomly in to two different arms of the study, half of the people involved will receive the toolkit and half will receive treatment as usual (the same as before).

Before anyone is assigned to a group we would like to ask you to fill in a number of questionnaires to see how you are feeling at the moment. Then after this first visit you will be put into one of these arms (completely at random). We’ll give you a phone call to let you know which one you’re in. After 6 months we will ask you to complete the questionnaires again. By comparing these two arms we can see what effect the toolkit has.

To take part in the REACT study you must meet the following criteria.

Are you a relative or close friend or a person with psychosis (care coordinators or case mangers referring a relative please tick here) Has that person made their first contact with the Early Intervention Service in the past 24 months? Are you 18 or over? Do you have a good understanding of written English?

Please tell us who you are
