British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies Conference 2011

Members of the REACT project presented the research at the annual conference of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), which takes place at the University of Surrey in Guildford in July 2011.

In a symposium on ‘Informing interventions for relatives of people with psychosis’, Laura Wainwright, presented findings from the qualitative focus group study exploring what relatives experience when supporting a family member with early psychosis. She was joined by Fiona Lobban, lead researcher on the REACT project, who talked about the key components of effective family interventions for supporting relatives of people with psychosis.

Division of Clinical Psychology annual conference

Laura Wainwright has presented the data collected from the initial focus groups of relatives at the Division of Clinical Psychology annual conference in Manchester in December.
